We had
such a warm January and February that spring was running 22 days early.
I'm not sure where they got that number from.  Its precision makes me curious.
What did they do?
Ask a Robin Redbreast?
 Any way, it turned
out to be wishful thinking.
We are having a cold March complete with snow.
I have to admit I am not amused.
Luckily people planted their Lenten Roses back when it was
warm and they have survived.
Today I saw my first tulip.
And I got English peas at the market this morning, so it
should be spring any day now.
But in the meantime, I would settle for getting rid of the
rest of the ugly gray snow still on the streets.
Here's
another blog about Lenten roses ...
Cheers!
