I only got over to Central Park to take photographs once
this fall.
I went early - on Halloween actually, to check things
out.
It was already clear that it wasn't going to be a great
year.
It's been very dry here.
And as a result, many trees lost leaves before they had a
chance to change colors.
It's very sad.
But, the truth is that Central Park is so artfully designed
that it always looks good,
even when you don't hit the seasons quite right.
Predictions are for a cold winter, so maybe we'll get some
pretty snow days this year.
