I have
so many terrific photos of the Seward Johnson sculptures currently on display
in the Garment District
that I decided to post a second set.
They are made of bronze by the way.
So they should make it through the summer
even though we are having our usual hot humid weather.
And there are 18 of them on display from three of his
collections.
This one is based on an impressionist painting Any guesses which one?
But it's hard to top the famous "D-Day kiss" and a 25 foot version of it is due to go on
display in Times Square in August.
I think I may just have to go check it out.
If I haven't melted by then.
