I went to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden a few weeks ago
and managed to catch the early white magnolias putting on a
beautiful show.
It's always tricky to photograph in the spring.
You never really know what you are going to get until you
arrive.
Because we had our 4th warmest March ever the magnolias
bloomed early this year.
I ran out to Brooklyn as soon as I realized and lucked
out.
Despite the fact that I have been visiting and shooting
there for decades,
I have never managed to catch these early white ones at
their peak before.
So, I kept trying.
As you can see they were well worth the effort.
Here's a previous blog of white magnolias...
Enjoy!
