When I visited the New York Botanical Gardens earlier this
spring
I noticed that they had a large collection of peonies.
Peonies are such showy flowers they are lots of fun to look
at and photograph.
The double variety has the most interesting shapes,
so they are right up there with magnolias on my list of
favorites.
But the other kinds are lovely too.
They remind me of oversized poppies.
On a breezy day their petals blow in the wind,
which adds an extra degree of difficulty to photographing
them.
But it's worth the effort.
Here's a previous blog...
Cheers!
