While
I have classified these roses as orange,
some
could just as easily be called peach,
and
others are closer to pink.
I have
to admit that I am partial to the ones that have an edge with a different
color.
I often
wonder what varieties were crossbred to create that effect.
Adding
a red or a yellow perhaps?
But my
favorite thing about roses is their scent, so it's a shame that so many
breeders ignore smell these days.
When I
selected roses for our roof garden I deliberately picked those that smelled the
sweetest.
And I
am glad that I did!
Here's
a previous blog of orange roses...
Here's a bunch of other blogs about roses - in case they are your favorites!
Cheers!
