As I
have mentioned before, I am a lover of Tiffany glass.
So I
thought it was time to post some more photos from the collection at the Queens
Museum.
It was
donated by the Neustadt's who began collecting them in 1935 when Tiffany's were
so out of style that they bought their first lamp for $12.50.
If you
watch Antiques Roadshow you know that
these days of course they command five figure prices.
But
because they were prescient they were able to amass the largest and most
comprehensive collection in existence today with over 200 lamps.

It
really is exquisite.
But
they need better PR.
Even a
fan like me only found out about the collection by accident.
So
spread the word. They really are worth a
visit.
