Digital Collage: Cape of Good Hope

I visited South Africa in January 2000 to film a commercial for Sprint.  We got to visit the Cape of Good Hope on our time off.  It was a real kick since I remember studying it in school.  I also have strong memories of the random animals scattered about.  This piece is a tribute to both.

Here's a blog of photos from South Africa including the background pic for this piece....

Cheers!

Cape Town 2

It's in the teens today in NYC, again.

We had a streak of 14 days starting on Christmas where the temperature didn't get above freezing.

So this is shaping up to be a cold winter.

The first time it went into the teens in December the weather people noted that it was the lowest the temperature had been in two seasons.

I could have guessed that.  Last winter was a non-event.
But this year in addition to the cold we have also been having quite a bit of snow.

Nothing above 7.8 inches yet, but it is only January.

Oh and that's why I decided to post a second set of photos from Cape Town South Africa,

where it is warm this time of the year.

I thought looking at them might warm me up a bit. :-)

Here's a previous blog about Cape Town...
