I got
so many beautiful shots of Alice Aycock's installation
that I
had to post a second set of pictures right away.
The
swirling shapes of the sculptures are the perfect contrast
to the
straight vertical lines of the tall buildings that surround them.
Practically
every photo is a winner.
And, I
would be hard pressed to pick a favorite -- photo or sculpture.
But
it's interesting to note that this sculpture -- called "Maelstrom" is
70 feet long
and is
the largest art piece featured on the avenue since displays began in 1969.
See it
while you can!
The
exhibit ends July 20th.
