Canna Lilies

I'm a big fan of canna lilies. 

They bloom during the summer when the competition is lighter. 

But they are showy enough to hold their own against any flower out there. 

Even their leaves are beautiful.  

They come in a variety of colors.  

 

The lighter ones are lovely, 

  but it's hard to beat the hot orange species.  

 

But the best thing about canna lilies are the interesting shapes

that their multi-petal flowers take.  

 

They are always a joy to see and photograph.
