Sadly
the produce at the Farmer's Market is wrapping up early this year.
We had
a hot dry summer and it even got into the 90's in September.
So I
had a feeling that would happen.
Luckily
I filled the freezers back in August so I'll have good sauces for the rest of
the year.
But
I'll miss the salads.
This
time of the year the market looks so pretty,
with a
beautiful combo of fall colors -- all in one pepper.
But
the gourds are probably the most striking
even
if they do make me sad because they symbolize the end of the harvest.
I can
hardly wait for next year.
Here's
a previous blog from the market...
Cheers!
