57th
Street between 5th and 6th is a great place for a walk.
If you
want to check it out, start with 9 West 57th, which has a lovely mirrored
surface.
With a
little patience you can see all kinds of interesting reflections from the
neighboring towers.
Then
as you look east you can see all the skyscrapers in the distance.
The
tall one in the middle is the newest.
It's part of the latest trend.
Abnormally high buildings popping up all over
Manhattan.
It's
impacting skylines that had essentially remained the same for the past 50
years.
And
happening so fast.
Soon many views that I have been enjoying for years will be gone
forever.
Another reason to take more photos now. ;-)
