This
piece from the Venice collection features one of Venice's best known landmarks
-- the Bridge of Sighs --
the walkway from the palace to the prison where prisoners
got to take their last look at the city before they were imprisoned. (Actually Lord Byron just made that up, but
the name and story stuck.) Here's a photo of just the bridge.
And yes, Casanova was imprisoned here.
