It's
turning out to be a very hot summer here in NYC.
Lots
of 90 degree days.
Which
means it's over 100 on the subway platforms.
But on
the plus side, the canna lilies should have a good summer.
After
all they are a tropical plant.
While
these are from Central Park
and
the Brooklyn Botanic Garden
you
can also find them in planters in Manhattan.
I put
them on the roof one year and they looked great,
but
they didn't re-bloom the next year, so they were one hit wonders.
