This
embroidery combines a photo of Westminster, the church where English Queens and
Kings were crowned, with purple roses because purple is the color of royalty.

Tulips 3
Although
I did post some tulips
from
my spring visit to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden,
I had
so many other nice pics
that I
thought I would do another blog focusing just on them.
Once
again, these are from Brooklyn.
They
plant them in two separate areas
and mix them up each year so there are always
new flowers to photograph.
Tulips
come in so many shapes and styles now.
Some
look more like roses than tulips.
But
that's one of the things that makes them so much fun.
