I saw a nice pic of the Plaza de Espana in Seville on
Instagram the other day,
so I thought I would post a few more shots from our trip in
1993.
The plaza is stunning -
and it even made a guest appearance in one of the Star Wars
films.
All of the green spaces in Seville were pretty
and it seemed like there were abundant flowers everywhere.
That includes the Alcazar - Isabella's palace.
Since Catherine of Aragon, Henry VIII's ill fated first
wife was Isabella's youngest daughter she was raised here.
I always think about what a shock it must have been to move
to cold rainy England
after being able to
pick citrus fruits off the trees in the yard.
