Hydrangeas 3

The white hydrangeas were clearly the winners in this year's weather lottery.

Their abundance filled the neighborhood and our backyard at the Amherst.

They're still looking pretty good, as are all our summer flowers, thanks to the warm weather we have had lately.

It's been so warm in fact that I was shocked when it actually started to cool off yesterday,

even though it is mid-October.

But if we're going to have a pretty fall,

it's time to say goodbye to the summer temperatures.

Because it has to cool off at night for the leaves to be pretty.

We could also use a bit more rain.

Keep your fingers crossed.

Here are two previous hydrangea blogs...

Cheers!
