Daffodils 4

Back in January someone asked me when it would get warm in NYC.

I said "There's a saying - March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb."

I spoke too soon.

This year the last week of March was so cold the annuals planted in the neighborhood all froze and died.  Oops.

Luckily we have daffodils.

Daffodils don't care if it's freezing out.  Daffodils can take a licking and keep on kicking.

They may take a pause.  But as soon as it warms up again they will start blooming.

Meanwhile those in sunnier spots are looking good.

And the others should join them soon.

Time for a visit to Central Park!
