Since it's still too cold out to play we headed over to the Museum of Natural History last weekend.
It's been a while.
Apparently it is the museum's 150th birthday.
Visiting is a very interesting experience because some of the exhibits are clearly original and are definitely showing their age.
They are still really beautiful though. Hats off to the folks who painted the backgrounds.
The juxtaposition with the updated exhibits - like the whale - is startling.
Since my last visit, they have repositioned some of the dinosaurs to reflect new findings about how they actually moved.
It's definitely worth a visit.
Reservations required - but pretty much ignored.
You will need ID and proof of vaccination though.
