This was a great year for tulips.
Clearly the weather gods favored them.
It seems like almost every tree pit put on a pretty display.
This one looks like a bouquet!
Red is still the most favored color, but plenty of other options were available if you aren’t a fan.
In a bit of a timing oops, the ones on Park Avenue this year
did not start blooming until after the cherry trees had finished.
Meanwhile, the Stonewall National Monument in Greenwich
Village decided to just mix all the colors together –
nicely complimenting the pride flag.
But mostly it’s a matter of coordinating the tulips with the never-ending construction.
Perhaps that explains the preference for red.
