My
schedule finally aligned with a brief period of sunny weather yesterday morning
so I headed off to Central Park to enjoy spring.
I have been following its progress on
Instagram on #centralparkbloomwatch
If you
are a flower fan you should check it out.
I thought
I'd head over to the west side of the park - mostly because I never go
there.
But
partially to take a shot that proved to be no longer available. (This one but
with some pink and white trees in the distance.)
I
didn't mind though because I discovered this gorgeous pink dogwood tree near
the entrance to Shakespeare Garden.
While
we have lots of dogwoods in Manhattan this is only the second pink one that I
have seen.
And it
was so lush and beautiful it really took my breath away.
It makes
me want to go back to the park again.
Here's hoping for another nice day soon.
Here's
a blog from earlier this month...
Cheers!
