Now
that NYC has entered its hot humid summer weather pattern I find myself
thinking fondly of Canada.
The
summer we visited, it was nice and cool.
When I
think about Montreal, what stands out the most is the botanical garden.
It was
superb,
especially
the Japanese Gardens.
We
also enjoyed what was left of "Old Montreal."
Unfortunately
there wasn't much of it.
And we
saw a bit of the remains from the 1976 Olympics.
A side
trip to Montmorency Falls was fun.
But I
don't have a photo to share of the lovely alter in Notre-Dame Basilica. You can see it here...
On our
next visit to Canada - we're thinking about Niagara Falls.
