Montreal

Now that NYC has entered its hot humid summer weather pattern I find myself thinking fondly of Canada.
The summer we visited, it was nice and cool.
When I think about Montreal, what stands out the most is the botanical garden.
It was superb,
especially the Japanese Gardens.
We also enjoyed what was left of "Old Montreal."
Unfortunately there wasn't much of it.
And we saw a bit of the remains from the 1976 Olympics.
A side trip to Montmorency Falls was fun.
But I don't have a photo to share of the lovely alter in Notre-Dame Basilica.  You can see it here...

On our next visit to Canada - we're thinking about Niagara Falls.

Here's a blog with pics from Quebec City.

Cheers!
