I got
a chance to head down to the 14th Street Green Market last week. On the way I checked out the artwork on
Broadway north of the park.
Most
of the stores were still boarded up.
Some stores
decided to make the best of it and their place in history, by allowing artists
to decorate the boards.
These
really colorful ones are from ABC Carpet.
Fishs
Eddy is a store that specializes in discontinued dishware.
They have
a really great selection - we used to shop there for shoots.
They
pasted some of the signs from the protestors over their boards.
Finally
there were these amazing drawings on Scotch & Soda.
These
were the only pieces that were signed.
Kudos
to all the artists.
