Collaborating with Tim #13: Roosevelt Island Tram

The Roosevelt Island Tram is a favorite subject for my photographs from both the Upper East Side of Manhattan and Roosevelt Island.

This close-up shot was taken from Manhattan on the East River Greenway.  The views from there are terrific.

Collaborating with Tim #7 - Roosevelt Island & Queens from the FDR

Since NYC is still on lockdown, I'm not getting out much these days.  But when we go to the hospital for Edward's treatments we take the FDR.  And sometimes the views are lovely.  When I took this photo what caught my eye was the pretty colors.
Tim's artwork shows some of the details of Roosevelt Island.  Toward the far right you can see the trees that are part of the official monument - Four Freedoms Park.  On the left you can see the ruins of the Smallpox Memorial Hospital.
In 1972 the hospital was added to the National Register of historic places, making it NYC's only landmarked ruin.

It actually looks prettier from across the river.  But here are a couple of close-ups from the island.
And here are my previous collaborations with Tim...
