Israel has been in the news lately. Not in a good way. It appears that Prime Minister Netanyahu is
about to be indicted. Sigh.
But it did give me a chance to think back once again on
what was a magical trip.
Haifa was shrouded in fog thanks to a light rain.
But the beaches of Tel Aviv were bright enough for
sunbathing a few days later.
In addition to its Roman past,
one can also find traces of the Crusaders in Acre,
and a romantic castle on the top of a hill.
We visited Nazareth - Edward took this shot of me
there.
And a spa where even when covered in mud, a soldier must
remain armed.
I did this sketch of Al Aqsa Mosque when we got home based
on a photo I took during our visit. We
moved too fast for any sketching on site.
Two
other Israel blogs...
Cheers!
