I
haven't seen an exhibit on Park Avenue lately that I liked enough to
photograph,
so I
thought I would pull some from the archives.
These
are from the 2013 "No Limits" exhibit by Alexandre Arrechea.
I love
the fact that some of the pieces are
re-imaginings
of classic NYC buildings like The Chrysler Building.
And
the combination of building on building
made
for some very interesting shapes and textures.
Of
course it never hurts to have the landmark Seagram's Building as a backdrop.
;-)
Alexandre
is a Cuban artist.
Here's
a link to his website.
And here's
a previous blog about the exhibit...
Cheers!
