Although I avoided Times Square on New Year's Eve as I always do,
I did take a visit a short while back.
It was nice to see things picking up again.
Unfortunately thanks to Omicron we are currently going in reverse.
Hugh Jackman had to take a break from Music Man and several shows have had to close due to lack of healthy staff.
I wonder what January holds in store.
Meanwhile though, there was some good news.
I had read that Ellen's Stardust Diner was closing permanently
in March 2020. It appears that they had
a change of heart. That's nice. It was a tourist favorite.
Overall I would say that NY has decided to vax/mask up and carry on.
It sure beats being locked in our apartments again.
