I went down to Union Square yesterday to check out the greenmarket and see if we were making any progress.
I saw some peaches in the store last week so I thought some crops might be coming in.
Only asparagus. I'm not big on asparagus.
But I did pick up a couple of new house plants. ;-)
I also caught part of the NY Dance Parade. Apparently it is a yearly event, and this was the 16th year.
It was quite a sight to behold.
According to their website over 10,000 dancers participate.
I wouldn't be surprised.
They were in a beautiful array of costumes covering all kinds of dance styles.
I enjoyed it so much that next year I will seek it out and bring my real camera.
But in the meantime here's a peak at yesterday's festivities.
