Even after a warm winter like this one, I am always eager to get out and enjoy spring as soon as we get a good day.
As a result, I end up visiting Central Park when it is
“almost spring.”
Not much is blooming yet, but there will be tons of daffodils
in a few weeks.
They are already starting to come up.
In the meantime we have crocuses and irises.
This is the first time I have seen Iris Reticulata.
I saw some photos on Instagram and thought I knew where to find them, so I headed to Shakespeare Garden on the west side to check them out myself. I guessed right. 😉
In sunny spots, the forsythia is starting to bloom.
All in all, it looks very promising. Can’t wait.
