The Seagram building on Park Avenue between 52nd & 53rd is a New York City Landmark (1989) on the National Register of Historic Places (2006.)

Designed by Mies van der Rohe in 1958, it is a favorite of architecture fans worldwide, which is why Tim asked for a photo.
Truthfully I have lots of photos of the Seagram building, but I am not a fan. It reminds me of the monolith from "2001: A Space Odyssey" - a film I found incredibly boring.
But one day, when the clouds were interesting I headed off to take some photos for Tim. This one was my favorite...
And here's Tim's interpretation. I was very amused by his decision to move the street lamp over to the side, as I had deliberately put it in front. To each his own. ;-)
